GLOBAL VISION INTERNATIONAL

My one piece of advice to anyone who goes on a project like this is "You only get out what you put in"

Introduction I hope to lay out here some of the reasons why I chose GVI and what I enjoyed about my project whilst also giving an honest account of my time in the forest- what I enjoyed and what I didn’t. I know from my experience with the project and my time afterwards (as a GVI field representative) that most potential volunteers have a vast array of questions that they wish to ask. These fall into two categories; the ones that everyone asks (what clothes should I take? will someone meet me at the airport? etc) and the more specific questions of either a personal or scientific nature. I hope to address mainly the first category of questions and address those general queries that I asked and people have put to me since. I hope that, who ever you are, these short articles help answer some of your questions.
I must make it clear that I am not employed by Global Vision International and the opinions expressed are my own and do not necessarily represent the views of the company. Expedition projects by there very nature can be hugely variable and none of the encounters I talk about can be gauranteed. However I do gaurantee that you will have an incredible time if you put the effort in! Click here for GVI's Official web page
