This represents an ideal partnership for the expedition as Páramo produce high quality waterproof breathable outdoor clothing that will protect Niall from the elements and allow him to concentrate on his main goal of producing high quality images of the Flamingo's and their habitat.

Travel Photographer of the Year Winners Announced

The 2005 Travel Photographer of the Year was announced at the start of December. Despite what I felt was a strong entry I only managed to achieve a 9th in the Natural World portfolio and a 21st in the Go Beyond portfolio - there's always next year!

Travel Photographer of the Year goes from strength to strength and I would recommend a look at some of the stunning images. Images and positions lists can be found at www.tpoty.com
