Talk on Project Flamingo at WWT Slimbridge
March 2008

On Friday 21st March Niall will be talking to the "Friends of Slimbridge" at the Wildfowl and Wetlands centre in Gloucester. Niall will be talking about his experiences in the Altiplano photogra[hing flamingos. To learn more follow this link.


Successful project with the Earthwatch Institute
February 2008

Niall attended an Earthwatch Institute project on Brown Hyenas in South Africa to document the work of the international charity and the volunteers who work on conservation projects. To see more images click on the Hyena to the right.


"Highly Commended" Image - European Wildlife Photographer of the Year
August 2006

I have finally managed to gain success in a widely recognised competition! The European Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition awarded this image with a "Highly Commended" in the birds category.


23 Semi's!
July 2007

I again entered BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and was successful enough to have 23 images reach the semi-final round of judging. Obviously I need to work on getting that tiny element of mystery that makes an image special before I will be recognised by the competition organisers!

Must try harder!
